CUMBERLAND ROAD BUS GATE

We are asking Bristol City Council to review this measure, which is damaging to Spike Island residents and businesses, our neighbours around Coronation Road and Hotwell Road, and the Council's own clean air goals.  We are engaging with the Growth and Regeneration Team, and with the Transport Committee to find a solution that will support the needs of residents and businesses, as well as the objectives of the Council.

Controversial bus gate makes council £1million in six months  - new figures show drivers have been fined 34,393 times for going through the bus gate (Jan-Jun 2024):

It helps our case when we are able to demonstrate how the measure is negatively impacting residents and businesses, so please add some details in the Comments section of our Petition.
